“Still”

“Still”, Edith_H’s newest album, was released on October 8, 2010.

“The new release is a natural progression of what Edit_H stands for: High quality music that moves hearts and legs alike!”, Kris says. “We can’t wait to find out if fans will be as thrilled as we are.”

The band gained an experienced and like-minded co-producer in Robb Vallier. Robb studied at the  Berklee College of Music and went on to work with music industry greats such as Paul McCartney, Dave Stewart, Jon Bon Jovi, Miachel Kamen and Randy Jackson, to name only a few.

“Still” also features a number of guest musicians, such as T.M. Stevens. Mainstream audiences probably remember him best for his famous bassriff in the opening section of Joe Cocker’s Unchain my Heart. Stevens was also a studio musician for  James Brown, Tina Turner, Cyndi Lauper and Billy Joel, as well as a member of the PretendersKirk Smith sang a duet with Kris, which is due for a single release later in the year.

Most of the songs featured on “Still” were recorded in Germany and then mixed in Robb’s Arizona studio.
